First grinding service free of charge!

All customers who buy a knife or cooping knife from OUTDOORWERK, from us or one of our resellers, will receive a first grinding service free of charge (not valid for Victorinox knives). This includes resharpening the blade, finish by hand, greasing the handle and case. OUTDOORWERK shall bear the return costs to the customer within Switzerland. Postage costs for addresses outside Switzerland shall be borne by the customer (advance payment). Please contact us in advance: info@outdoorwerk.ch.

Cost of knife sharpening service:

• for the grinding service of a convex knife on the belt grinder and by hand: approx. CHF 20-60/knife (depending on condition)
• Grinding of a knife with V-shape geometry to convex shape: approx. CHF 40-100/knife (depending on size, steel and condition)

Costs for building a leather sheath:

• Manufacture of special knife sheaths made of leather or Kydex, riveted, machine or hand sewn: between CHF 80-250
• minor changes such as additional strap, holes, eyelets etc.: approx. CHF 15-30
